Kentwood Fuselier Jr. was born in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Kentwood Fuselier Sr. and Edna Fuselier. In 1943 the family moved to Pontiac Michigan where he attend school. During his school years he played football. He was the smallest member of his high school football team and was recongnized for his fast running skills. After graduating from high school, he attended Michigan State University.

In 1959, Kent was married to Earnestine Adams, and to his former marriage was born three children. The oldest, Anthony Dwayne Fuselier, preceded him in death in 1979. Kent accepted Christ at a young age was baptized at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Pontiac, Michigan, under the pastoring of the late Reverend Samuel Edwards Sr.. Not many years later, Liberty Missionary Baptist Church was founded and Kent united with them where Reverend Edwarda Sr. served as pastor. He was a member of the church during his entire youth and actively served in several departments of the church, including being a youth deacon. His membership remained there until he relocated to California.

Kent and his family moved to Berkeley, California in 1961, where he worked at the post office. They moved to San Jose, Ca in 1963, where he started his career in Law Enforcement, He worked in various positions for Santa Clara County, beginning as a dispatcher for San Jose Police Department, he later worked at Juvenile Hall, and eventually became an Investigator for Welfare Fraud Division. He later moved to Fresno , Ca in early 1990, and became a Private Investigator. His last employment was Chief of Investigator for the County of Fresno.

Kent was passionate about studying God's Word and he attended People's Church of Fresno, Ca. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life to the fullest. Some of his hobbies included traveling, golf, and bowling and was connoisseur of great tasting food from many cultures. He loved and enjoyed his profession.

Kent was preceded in death by his father, Kentwood Fuselier Sr., mother, Edna Mae Fuselier, sister, Yvonnelier, Golden, Betty Hayes. He leaves to cherish his memory, his two daughters, Monica Hudson, Modesto, Ca Cheryl Fuselier, San Jose Ca. four grandchildren, Tonato Roger Mills Jr. Namecia Hobbs, Jarred Hobbs, Stevie Hudson, three greatgrandchildren, Jonalyn Wirth, John Wirth, and Breydon Hobbs, sister Vera Fuselier, Pontiac, Michigan, brother in-law, Alfred Golden, Pontiac, Michigan, former brother in-law, William Hayes, Merced, Ca., Uncle James B. Rollins, Las Vegas, Nevada, many nieces and nephews, cousins, many other loving relatives and friends.
